This month Start It Smart hosts an event from the SIStory (Successful Inspirational Stories) series with the entrepreneur Adel Zakout.
Adel Zakout studied Architecture at the Architectural Association School of Architecture in London but, after a brief stint with a girl pushed him to the brink of bankruptcy, he was forced to join the more-profitable league of Entrepreneurs.
Adel founded Creative Agency Despark.com where he was able to pursue his love for the Internet and later combine it with Architecture via OpenBuildings.com, the crowdsourced building database and Clippings.com, the platform to discover beautiful spaces & products. He is CEO of OpenBuildings.com / Clippings.com and looks forward to the day when he will be able to make real use of his 5 year Architectural education. In addition, he started the gourmet burger & steak joint „Boom! Burgers & Steaks„, is an investor in betahaus |Sofia and a mentor at LAUNCHub & Eleven.
