SIStory | Kiril Petkov – The Bulgarian Entrepreneur and Globalization

Start It Smart presents to you the first event for this autumn part of the SIStory series (Successful Inspirational Story).

On 21st of October, 2013, starting at 7 p.m. in the Aula of Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” we will be discussing the topic “The Bulgarian entrepreneur and globalization”.

Our guest–speaker – Kiril Petkov will tell us more about how to choose the area in which you can develop most as entrepreneur, how important is the competitive environment and how to choose what to focus on.

Kiril PetkovKiril is a co-founder of the Center for Economic Strategy and Competitiveness, an affiliate of Harvard and the Sofia University. He teaches courses on economic development and microeconomic competitiveness. Manager of the Bulgarian Development Company (BDC), as well as experience in investment projects in the field of multi-disciplinary and high-tech innovations in Bulgaria. He is currently part of MoveBG as co-founder of the project and mediator on “Market Economy” topic. He has graduated finances in Vancouver, as well as MBA from Harvard University. His teacher is Professor Michael Porter and with his guidence he specialized in the development of cluster strategies. He has worked for Makayn Group – 6 billion company that invests and manages large-scale industrial projects in North America and Europe.
