SIStory | Momchil Kyurkchiev: 10 tips I learned when launching in the Silicon Valley.

After the first SIStory for the year where Deyan Vitanov revealed to us how to get from Bulgaria to the Silicon Valley, the second has the privilege to show us the path of return. Of course, again our choice of a speaker is not random and our travel guide will be Momchil Kyurkchiev – the notorious Bulgarian software engineer and international entrepreneur. He had spent 5 years at Google where he was a senior software engineer and next he worked for YouTube Monetization where he served as a TL for Featured Video. Now he is developing his own company Leanplum – a platform for optimizing mission-critical metrics of mobile apps. They make it easy for product managers to conduct on-the-fly optimization tests and see immediate results with powerful analytics. The event will focus on the advice of Momchil for starting a successful business in the Silicon Valley and will reveal his experience from A and B to accumulating 5 million dollars.The inspiring story of the entrepreneur will be telling us about the most important lessons he’s learned for the last couple of dynamic years, spent on the way from Silicon Valley to Sofia.

Momchil Kyurkchiev is a co-founder and CEO of Leanplum, a TechStars company, recently funded by Shasta Ventures – one of the most reputable funs in Silicon Valley. The deal with Sashta Ventures evaluates two-year-old company Leanplum at 15M dollars least. Nowadays Leanplum have opened an office in Sofia as well and truly believe in the engineering talent of Bulgaria.
